About HugoFamily
HugoFamily is a family organizer and household management app. It helps families manage shopping, responsibilities, meals, money, household information and everyday family life together.
We didn’t start with an app. We started with a family.
Where it began
We are a family of six — two parents, four children — and two dogs. That is where HugoFamily comes from.
One child wants cacao. Another needs sweets for a birthday party. Someone has to bake the cake. There is shopping to do, pocket money to remember, laundry waiting, clubs to organize — and all of those little requests need somewhere to go.
We tried what families naturally try: remembering things, scraps of paper, shopping lists, messages, notes. The problem wasn’t that any one of those things was hard. It was that family life kept producing more of them. They lived in different heads, different chats, different corners of the week. And they often ended up with the person who already knew.
We built HugoFamily so those everyday requests would have a shared place to land — and so more of us could see them, add to them, and carry them.
That experience still shapes how we build HugoFamily. A family should not have to become more organized for an app. The app should quietly make everyday life easier. It should help share what we know and what needs doing, while parents remain parents and every family decides for itself how responsibility is shared.
We built HugoFamily because we needed it — a loyal place for everyday family life that doesn’t ask you to become project managers at home.
Mission
HugoFamily exists so families spend less effort organizing everyday life, and more of their time and energy actually living it together.
Family life. Finally in one place.
We are a family building software for families. We believe families deserve a loyal companion — and one trusted place instead of many disconnected apps. The aim is not more time in HugoFamily. The aim is less time spent remembering everything that keeps everyday family life moving.
HugoFamily is paid for by families who choose to support it — not by advertising, attention, or selling personal data. We don’t want a business where your family’s attention pays the bills. With HugoFamily, the customer is the family. A fair price, without manipulation. Hugo works for your family. Nobody else.

What we are not
HugoFamily is not a social network, family surveillance, or a productivity contest. We do not believe home should be run like a workplace, children ranked on a scoreboard, or one parent given better tools to manage everyone else.
HugoFamily is not built on advertising or collecting personal data for someone else’s benefit. The family remains the customer.
Hugo supports the household; it does not run it. Technology can help the family remember, prepare and understand. Decisions stay with the family.
Home is not work. Family is not a competition.
